The company was founded in 1970 by Late Mr. Champalal Sarda, a mechanical engineer by education. Sensing an opportunity in the metal cutting tools business while working with various engineering and automobile companies he went on to found the pre-cursor to what is M 'la Sales Corporation today. In 1973, his brother Mr.Satyanarayan Sarda joined the company and over the next four decades they built M 'la into a premier marketing & distribution company for industrial consumables. Starting with H.S.S tools, the company graduated to offering customers indexable and solid carbide tools from the late 1990s.
  In early 2002, M'la introduced YG-1 range of products in India and has contributed largely to its success in the country. Since 2007, M'la is the sole technology solution and sales provider for HAINBUCH in India.

Today the company has a strong base of over 600 unique customers across India. Solutions are offered for work-holding and tool-holding, special carbide tools, solid carbide and indexable carbide tools, lubricants, grinding and sawing among others. Over the last 40+ years, the company has also built a strong network of partners and associates across all the key industrial zones in India through which it has country-wide reach.

The second generation of the family is today active in the business. Mr.Dnyanesh Sarda completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, U.S.A and after gaining a solid work experience for 12 years in the U.S.A he joined the company in 2009. Mr.Niranjan Sarda completed his M.B.A from Insead, France and has a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, U.S.A. He joined the company in March 2014 after working for 5 years across Finland, New York and Singapore.

Along its journey of more than 40 years, the company has evolved into a trusted solution provider with strong business ethics and integrity. As the journey continues, the company aims to further enhance its portfolio to positively impact productivity for the customer.
